Plans for a state of the art White Water Rapid Course has got
the green light for the city of Dublin.
It's an ambitious project thought to cost approx. 22 million
euro. The location is Dublin Docklands and will take about 18 months starting this year (2020) constructed at George's Dock
on the north quays. It's unanimously been approved by Dublin City councilors and includes the construction of two new buildings
, a water treatment facility and flood defenses.
It's expected to attract 11,000 visitors in the first year, and
more than 37,000 in it's 5th year!
